2018 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship

Aug. 6-12: The Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs, Tenn., will host its first USGA championship, the 16th USGA championship in Tennessee. This will be the third U.S. Women’s Amateur conducted in Tennessee and the first since 1979 at Memphis Country Club. Located about 25 miles west of Nashville, The Golf Club of Tennessee was designed by Tom Fazio and opened for play in March 1991. The club boasts three USGA champions among its membership: Brandt Snedeker (2003 Amateur Public Links), Lou Graham (1975 Open) and Sarah LeBrun Ingram (1991, 1993 and 1994 Women’s Mid-Amateur). Fast Fact: 2012 U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson (Wake Forest) won the 2005 NCAA Men’s East Regional at The Golf Club of Tennessee.
